Pauline Houchins is an Executive Vice President with Asset Living and joined the team through the First Communities merger in January 2024. During her 25 years of multifamily experience, she has overseen a range of asset types, including conventional and new development for institutional and private equity firms.
Pauline has managed the transactions of more than 60 assets worth over $2B in collective value and currently oversees $3.5B in multifamily assets. She has extensive experience in the Sunbelt region and major metropolitan areas that include Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Jacksonville, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh/Durham, Tampa and Washington, DC.
Before joining First Communities in 2012, she was a publisher for a multifamily publication where she directed the sales, marketing and production of the Atlanta division. Prior to her publishing career, she worked within the multifamily sector at The Worthing Companies, where she spent 13 years holding various positions that included Director of Training and Marketing and Regional Development Director. Pauline is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association (NAA) and holds a Lyceum Leadership Association designation. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business in 2003.
