The reality is that most properties that make renters insurance a requirement receive little to no pushback from residents.

Properties found that once residents understood the benefits and affordable cost, they quickly adopted comprehensive insurance policies to protect themselves. In addition, the properties reported that required renters insurance had no effect on their ability to maintain existing residents.
