Greystar Wins the 2021 UMA Sustainability Award
In 2019 Greystar began partnering with Move for Hunger, a non-profit organization that gathers nonperishable food items from residents during move-outs and other times throughout the year. And this is how they won this year’s Utility Management Advisory Sustainability and Innovation award. It celebrates excellence in energy, water and/or trash management and projects demonstrating measurable enhancements in sustainability practices.
This program promotes balance within Greystar’s ESG program, focusing on reducing our environmental footprint and prioritizing engaging and giving back to our local communities. Move for Hunger has been an incredible partnership, helping Greystar touch our efforts’ environmental and social side.
