Join RealPage® multifamily market experts Carl Whitaker and Dan Sindelar for an interactive and timely update on apartment market fundamentals in the Lone Star State.
Texas’ rental housing market has been red-hot for well over a year now, fueled by significant population growth and a statewide economy that has recovered more quickly than many other parts of the nation.
Many Texas markets didn’t see as much of a slowdown during the winter months either, indicating the state’s largest metros, in particular, could be in position to jump to the top of the nation’s performance leaderboard. Although demand remains incredibly strong in many parts of the state, new construction remains a key storyline as well.
Will new deliveries be enough to impact local performance, particularly among existing Class A product, in the Texas metros? Or will demand keep pace? Additional discussion topics will include commentary on urban/suburban fundamentals, revenue growth and, perhaps most importantly, some commentary on the near-term forecast.
