COVID-19: Impact on Short-Term Rentals
Now Available On Demand
Tourism is a casualty of any slowdown—and perhaps especially so in a pandemic.
Join RealPage’s Jay Parsons and Kigo’s Daniel Bowen for the live webcast, COVID-19: Impact on Short-Term Rentals, as they share best practices for how vacation rental owners and managers can adapt as demand slows, protect their properties, and calm the nerves of potential guests.
They will discuss:
- What’s happening to the travel and vacation industries, and when will it improve?
- How should short-term rental owners and managers think about cancellations, pricing and marketing strategies as they try to generate more bookings?
- How apartment managers can utilize short-term rentals to plug expected vacancies in a downturn
- What tools are available to help monitor and improve performance?
No one has all the answers in these circumstances, but in this engaging webcast, we will do our best to address your questions.

Daniel BowenGeneral Manager, Kigo
Daniel joined RealPage in 2011 and has held a variety of roles spanning from finance to product, but he has spent most of his time in mergers and acquisitions, where he has helped develop RealPage’s strategy for entering and expanding in the short-term rental market. He currently manages RealPage’s short-term rental vertical.
He grew up and resides in Dallas, TX where he lives with his wife (high school sweetheart), their four children, three chickens, two dogs, and one cat (no partridge…or pear tree). He fully admits to living vicariously through his children who are far more fun and talented than he ever has been. Fun Fact: He had front row seats to WWF Monday Night Raw in 1998 where Goldust pointed at him and yelled “Shut Your Stinkin’ Hole!” He feels this encounter shaped him as a person.
