RealPage Releases New Web-Based Payment Processing System for Multifamily Industry

(January 12, 2006)—RealPage, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand software and services to the multifamily industry, today announced that it has expanded its product offering with a new web-based payment processing system, OneSite Payments.

OneSite Payments supports multiple electronic payment options to improve efficiencies at the leasing office. It was launched in March 2005 with ACH transaction processing, which allowed for single or recurring debits, online transactions and paper check conversion to electronic items. In July, credit card transaction processing capability was added. Last month, RealPage successfully piloted and processed Check 21 transactions, enabling all U.S. checks—money orders, cashier checks, travelers checks and corporate checks—to be converted to image replacement documents, or IRDs.

OneSite Payments is fully integrated with RealPage’s core property management system, OneSite Leasing & Rents, allowing RealPage customers to enjoy the true value of real-time system integration. Information flows seamlessly between the two systems, ensuring that resident ledgers are always up to date with payment information, including NSFs.

Leasing personnel can utilize a check reader/scanner to instantly convert paper checks into electronic items or swipe a credit card for automatic credit card processing. They can also create a one-time payment, schedule a recurring debit, issue credits and view real-time reports on demand.

In addition, OneSite Payments’ Resident Portal provides residents with 24/7 access to a secure web site where they can view online statements and pay rent with single or recurring debits from their bank accounts or with credit cards.
