(August 23, 2007)—RealPage, Inc., a leading provider of products and services to the multifamily industry, today announced that Able Real Estate Services (ARES) Inc. has selected its on-demand service bureau management system, OneSite® Leasing & Rents Affordable Service Bureau, as its software.
ARES, a leading provider of service bureau and contract administration services, will leverage the power of OneSite Leasing & Rents Affordable Service Bureau to provide expert compliance monitoring and reporting. Apartment owners and managers of both large and small portfolios will now be able to manage their properties more cost-effectively while keeping in compliance with all government regulations.
“I know this new partnership will provide our clients with new and improved services,” said Mike McKenzie, president of ARES. “This will be great for the owners to have real-time access to their data.”
ARES is the second service bureau to choose OneSite Leasing & Rents Affordable Service Bureau as its on-demand solution. In September 2006, Paulhus & Associates, a leading provider of contract administration, training and subsidy recovery services located in Pennsylvania, adopted the system in its first month of release.
“We are very excited to partner with Able Real Estate Services, a long-time RealPage client,” said Ranjeev Teelock, vice president of affordable housing for RealPage. “Like Paulhus and Associates, ARES’ new offering will benefit owners and managers who do not want to invest in purchasing software and training leasing consultants on compliance.”
The software reduces the cost of maintaining subsidized sites by eliminating the need for a full-time, on-site compliance expert.
OneSite Leasing & Rents Affordable Service Bureau is available to owners and managers on a monthly subscription-fee basis. A basic service package includes processing 50059 certifications, generating initial notices, managing tenant recertification and creating lease documents. ARES will process Housing Assistance Payments (HAP), transmit vouchers through HUD’s Tenant Rental Assistance Compliance System (TRACS) and process Gross Rent Changes. Owners with Section 236 contracts will receive Excess Income Reporting under this package.
RealPage is a leading provider of affordable software for the multifamily industry. It currently offers four affordable products: OneSite Leasing & Rents Affordable HUD, OneSite Leasing & Rents Tax Credits, OneSite Leasing & Rents Rural Housing and OneSite Affordable Screening. All are part of RealPage’s OneSite on-demand property management suite that automates the entire process of leasing, renting and managing apartments, including fast and easy applicant screening, comprehensive facilities maintenance, simplified purchasing and expense controls, professional accounting and convenient online rent payment.

About Able Real Estate Services, Inc.
Able Real Estate Services (ARES), Inc. was formed in 1987 by John and Joanne Greer as a property management company for low-income and subsidized apartment communities. In the 1990s, when the Department of Housing and Urban Development created the Tenant Rental Assistance Certification System (TRACS) to automate manual procedures being used in the affordable housing industry, John and Joanne discovered a real need in the industry for small property management and housing authorities that did not have the resources to conform to the new auto-submission requirements, and ARES began offering TRACS processing and submission services. In addition to these services, ARES also offers training, continuing education, CA voucher processing subcontracting and property management. Located in Ft. Collins, Colorado, ARES is now owned and operated by John and Joanne’s daughter, Anna, and her husband, Mike McKenzie.
