Investors in the student housing sector are increasingly deploying capital in smaller university markets, according to a new report from Axiometrics, a RealPage company.
“Until recently, very few of those involved in the student housing industry were interested in anything except the Tier-I, flagship campus universities,” writes Dave Sorter of Axiometrics. “That, however, is changing.”
Tracking and projecting investor interest within sprawling student housing markets, Sorter analyzes transaction volumes, planned supply and university-level bed counts.
