Vice President of AnalyticsScott Herring joined MPF Research in 2008 to lead the company’s market and product expansion efforts. He oversees data collection, quality control, forecasting and analysis functions for MPF Research and is focused on the creation of analytical market research tools for use by the multifamily industry.
Prior to joining MPF, he spent more than 13 years at JPI, working on multifamily development, acquisitions and market research. During his tenure, Scott directed the market selection and market research efforts for JPI’s student housing division, performing analysis of more than 100 markets that led to the development and acquisition of projects valued at more than $500 million. He also directed the market research component of JPI’s luxury apartment division in Texas and Arizona, which produced communities valued at roughly $200 million during his tenure. Scott holds a BBA in management from Texas A&M University.
