These are answers to some of the most commonly asked Account On It 2000 questions.

Q. Can I merge 2 vendor accounts so that I can print just 1 Form 1099?
A. Currently it is not possible to merge 2 vendor accounts

Q. Are Report Formats sent from the Corporate Office to the site?
A. Formats are not automatically sent back to Account On It Site. Only vendor and invoice information are sent to the site via a script file. There are two options for getting the Account On It formats into Account On It Site: You can restore from a corporate-generated backup of Account On It or the corporate office can send the .fmt files to the site and the files can be copied into the Account On It Site directory.

Q. Where can I get pre-printed check stock for Account On It?
A. Any graphics service can supply a pre-printed check stock for Account On It.

Q. Why didn't my invoices merge into Account On It from RentRoll?
A. Be sure that you choose PROCESS, not TEST when doing Import Using Merge.

Q. Why doesn't my password work now that I've installed Account On It on a new computer?
A. You will need the Default User Name and Password that came with the software, ADMIN and ADMIN.

Q. How can I reopen a fiscal period?
A. Go to the G/L module, select ENTRIES then select ADD ENTRIES. Use a transaction date that falls within the fiscal period you wish to reopen. You will receive a message asking you to verify the fiscal period. Press any key. You will immediately receive a message informing you that the period you have chosen is marked POSTING NOT PERMITTED and asking if you want to permit posting for the period. Choose YES. Leave DATE TO REVERSE empty and press Enter. With OK highlighted at the bottom of the screen, press Enter again. A blank MANUAL JOURNAL ENTRY sheet will be displayed. Press ESC to return to the menu.

Q. How do I re-use a property code after deleting a company? I deleted a company from Account On It using the Delete A Company option. When I tried creating another company using the same 4-character code I got a warning box telling me that the code was not a unique value.
A. The Delete A Company option only removed the 4-character code and its associated property name from the Select A Company pick list. It does not remove the property's information files. If you need to re-use the same property code please contact Product Support.

Q. Can a locked invoice be deleted? If not, how can it be removed from the Open Invoice list or the Aged Open report?
A. A locked invoice cannot be deleted. A credit invoice must be created to offset the debit invoice. Both the debit and the credit invoices must then be selected for payment and a manual check issued for Zero.
