It’s a dark and rainy day in Big D today. I don’t sit by a window but I can feel the rumble of thunder at my desk (that reminds me…SAVE ALL WORK).Tag: Venue

On March 26, the dynamic blogging duo of Michael and Karen will undertake a hazardous, yet so very important, road trip on behalf of user conference attendees. It’s a trip rife with adventure, danger, and maybe a hunky football player or two.Tag: Fun Stuff

If you are still on the fence about attending the conference, or if you need some help convincing your boss on why you should attend, here are some things to think about:
1. Spend now, gain later. Sometimes you have to spend a little money now to make money for the future. The conference is centered on processes and information to remain profitable in this economy. Just look at the session descriptions. They are all about how to be successful in difficult economic times.
2. Find out what works. From networking to guest presenters, it's a great place to talk to lots of people about what they're doing, find out what works, and get new ideas. You'll be surprised at the number of people who face the exact same things that you do, and these contacts can be great resources way beyond the conference.
3. Get re-energized. We all need a shot in the arm from time-to-time, and the user conference is a great place to get one. It will be chock full of information, leaders, ideas, innovations and so forth. You can't help but to return home with a your brain buzzing and your rear on fire. And that kind of enthusiasm is contagious.
4. Work on your continuing education. Get a CPE or a CEU Credit for attending the right sessions.
To those customers who have already registered, thanks! And tell us. Did we leave anything off of our list?

Workshops are always the most popular sessions at the conference. Why? Well they’re like test driving a new car. You get to be in the driver’s seat and see how everything works. And it’s amazing to hear how even experienced users seem to always discover something new about the product and how they can get the most out of it. Tag: Workshops
