Margot Lebenberg
Margot Lebenberg Carter is Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary for RealPage, Inc., and oversees all of the company’s legal affairs.
She joined RealPage in May of 2010, bringing extensive finance and general counsel expertise to the company and an impressive track record of counseling international public corporations on complex business, transactional and SEC matters.
Before joining RealPage, Lebenberg Carter served as president of Living Mountain Capital L.L.C., a business advisory firm she founded in 1998 specializing in corporate development, strategic alliances, acquisitions, board directorships and restructurings. During this time she advised clients, including RealPage, and served on the boards of several domestic and international private and publicly traded companies.
Prior to Living Mountain Capital, Lebenberg Carter served as EVP, General Counsel and Secretary for The Princeton Review, Inc., through the sale to Bain Capital, and before that she was EVP, General Counsel, Managing Director and Secretary at Soundview Technology Group, Inc. through the sale to The Charles Schwab Corporation. Her work at both companies was instrumental in the restructuring and sale of the businesses.
Her professional career has also included senior executive and legal leadership roles for global financial services company Cantor Fitzgerald and its affiliates, and F.Y.I. Incorporated (most recently known as SOURCECORP, Incorporated), a document and information outsourcing solution provider.
Lebenberg Carter received a J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. degree in economics and history from SUNY Binghamton.
