RHSManager 2000 FAQs

These are answers to some of the most commonly asked RHSManager 2000 questions.

Q. Can Modification Certifications be sent to RD electronically?
A. Yes, the program has the ability to send Modifications Electronically. Before attempting you should confirm with your local RD rep to make sure they will accept them. We have found that generally RD offices do not want modifications.

Q. How do you send the Project Worksheet electronically to RD (Rural Development)?
A. You do not send the Project Worksheet electronically. Currently only Certifications are sent electronically the Project Worksheet is submitted by mail.

Q. Column 9 (Current Gross Income) of my Tax Credit Report is incorrect. Where do I find this information?
A. Go to Tenant, then to Household Information. Scroll to the correct Tenant and press Enter. Next choose Income/Asset/Expense and press enter. Press ALT I Fill in the correct Effective Date and Gross Income amount here.

Q. Why can't I find the Rent Register report? My Castle Lake program had it.
A. The report will have to be created. First, Go to TENANT and press enter, then to TENANT REPORTS and press enter. Print the Rent Roll report. Next go to UTILITIES and then to REPORT WRITER and press Enter. Press INSERT and choose REPORT and press enter, then choose TENANT & UNIT and press enter. Title the new report RENT REGISTER and enter through the remaining items. Press INSERT and add the columns BUILDING & UNIT # and LAST NAME. Next press INSERT to add the following TEXT columns FNTC,RECD,DATE,CK# and SEC DEP. (TEXT is the last choice in the pick list) and then save the new report. The new report will be used in conjunction with the Rent Roll report to record rent paid.

Q. How do I restore a missing HMFTPRN.DAT file?
A. At the RHSManager directory type SYSFILES and you will be presented with a list of files that already exist and you will be asked if you want to overwrite the current file. Respond N to all lines EXCEPT the line that says HMFTPRN.DAT ALREADY EXISTS. Respond Y to this line and this will reinstall the HMFTPRN.DAT files for you.

Q. Is the User ID and Login ID case sensitive in RHSManager?
A. Yes the case must ALWAYS match the Trading Partner Agreement?

Q. I cannot read my Trading Partner Agreement, how do I confirm the information?
A. You can call the TPA Confirmation line 314-539-7569.
